WITHOUT MUSIC MINDS WOULD BE QUIET

The benefits of playing music are indisputable. In young music students, music class is proven to increase I.Q, and enhance learning outcomes. For adults, learning music with online music class protects the brains cognitive capabilities.  For all of us, music decreases stress levels and increases happiness. It is no wonder we are so committed to music instruction!

Music classes have the power to change us – to make us better people.

Lessons At-School or Online

Fundamental Music is dedicated to instrumental music in as comfortable a setting as possible. We understand the difficulties students and teachers face and the pressures that are associated with scheduling.

There are several class models that we use. (please note: each school administration chooses the scheduling model to reflect the preference and needs of the school community)

1. Daytime lessons – Classes are scheduled using a rotating lesson schedule. This ensures that no class time is repeated for 8 to 10 weeks. Considered the National Standard for Instrumental Music Education, this model allows us to meet core standards for each student.

2. After School Classes. Some of our schools opt for an after school schedule – either in combination with daytime or instead of daytime classes. In this setting, students are scheduled using the best combination of ages and instrumentation possible. The larger the program, the more teachers will be involved to ensure the best education possible. (It is best to either come from the school’s aftercare program or have plans for drop-off and pick-up at class time)

3. Online Classes. Lessons are scheduled at your convenience and are generally private classes (1 teacher for 1 student). Online classes can be utilized anytime there are scheduling issues. Students choosing Online Classes are encouraged to participate in their school concerts and Honor Band.
