🎵 Private Class Options – General Information
✨ We aim to make music instruction accessible, reliable, and easy to integrate into your routine.
FMI is primarily a small group lesson program. While our core offering is group instruction, we do our best to accommodate alternative lesson environments when possible:
- Online Private Classes – One‑on‑one lessons with a teacher via Zoom or similar platform. (Always Available)
- Private Lessons at School – Available only with teacher permission, as not all schools can accommodate this option.
- In Rare Cases – Lessons at a teacher’s home or in your home. (Very limited availability)
💡 Enrollment Requirement
All private lesson types require only one lesson payment at enrollment.
This initial payment allows us to:
- Create and confirm the appropriate schedule tailored to your needs and teacher availability.
- Secure your place while we finalize lesson arrangements.
Once the schedule is established:
- Ongoing billing will begin in advance of lessons. (Billing happens on the 1st of each month)
- In cases where a teacher is absent or unavailable, a credit will be applied to the following month’s invoice.
📅 Class Schedule
- Available for any age, any instrument.
- Sessions occur at school or another approved location.
- Offered only at select schools and dependent on teacher availability.
- Our online private lessons are flexible enough to be “as Needed” or “On-going”.We work closely with families to create a customized schedule that fits your availability and supports consistent progress.
🕒 Scheduling Highlights
- Weekly lessons at a time that works for you and your teacher.

🎶Performances
There will be performance opportunities as well. If you attend one of our schools, Online students will be invited to perform on the school concerts. All students will also be invited to perform in our extremely popular “Talent Showcases.” Of course when ready, with our award winning Honors Band in such places as Disney, Hershey, Washington DC………
✨ Please Note:
We cannot guarantee teachers are able to accommodate in person classes but in many cases, classes can be arranged with a teacher at your school or in your area.
